Fresh St. Pete Beach Fishing Reports

Nice group today enjoyed flat seas and hungry fish. Lots of under size grouper came over the rail today. They managed to catch a dozen hog fish today with half if them legal size to take home. Loads of white grunts or locally called grey snappers. Capt Brandon reported that at least over 130 went home to eat today. The anglers today enjoyed catching well over 250 fish for the day

Full stringers around the whole boat today once again despite a few slow days 95% of a half-day trips are coming back with loaded stringers. Do you want to catch some fresh fish for dinner lunch come on down you should have plenty of fish on a half day for some great meals. Photo was from a trip last week however they all look like these. This month before the kids get out of school is the time to hit the beach area. The boats are only carring half the people till the end of thr month leaving lots of room and fish waiting to bend your rods. First time fishing ?? No problem. We will show you how. Average size run 8 to 12 and if you have some good luck a smoker king between 25 and 50 pounds will slam your bait! This run normally goes on till the start of June. The party boat fishing is doing great. Water temps are in the low 70s and the fish will eat just about everything that moves past them. Travis and his wife joined us for a morning 1/2 day. Travis left with a fish story of a life time when a huge king decided to smash into the plug we set out.

Despite the back to back hurricanes we are still kicking and fishing! We also just brought back our 4 hour trips for october-may! The bite has been hot on our last couple trips. This time of year is when we have the shot at the largest sharks, so book today and come Run For The Reels!!!
